How this one is different
Most wedding budget tools assume one day, one venue, one bill. A Nikkah, a Mehndi and a Walima are three different rooms with three different guest lists, and often two different families paying. So this calculator splits the money by event first, then lets you set a guest number for each one.
The mehr is in the list of extras on purpose. It is not a vendor cost and it is not a decoration budget: it is a gift promised to the bride that belongs to her. It still needs to be money that genuinely exists on the day, which is why it is worth putting a figure on it early.
